This research aims to assess the relationship that exist between Job satisfaction and employees performance; in Tanzania Postal bank in Kinondoni District Dar es Salaam Tanzania. Tanzania postal bank is one of the oldest banks in Tanzania that is fully owned by the government of Tanzania which is performing well compared to other public banks that operate in the country. Job satisfaction is a factor that is mostly overlooked when it comes to public owned enterprises most employers don’t see it as an aspect that can lead to work performance. Ensuring that workers are satisfied has been an agenda in most countries especially developing countries like Tanzania. The association between job satisfaction and employees performance has been researched by most researchers but not in the financial institution in Tanzania, satisfied employees are identified by their working spirits which are highly motivated to reach the goals that are set by their work places. To verify any aspect of job satisfaction has always been a challenge. The purpose of this research is to show if there is any direct relationship on workers job satisfaction and their performance in the bank. The study had purposive sampling methods to collect data from 36 respondents and they were analyzed by SPSS and presented in tables and the interview that was conducted was discussed in the finding. The study found out that there is a direct relationship between employees job satisfaction and work performance were by more than 50% of the responses agreed. Therefore it is advice that the management should create good working environment, pay well and give job security to its staff in order for them to be able to perform in the bank, these shows that without balancing these two parts the result could lead to the organisation not to perform.
