Abstract

The study was carried out at Vision Fund Tanzania, Morogoro branch. This study explored the contributions of women‘s income generating activities on household access to health services in Morogoro Municipality, Tanzania. Specifically, the study sought to identify types and ways of women‘s income generating activities done, to find out the causes of women‘s income generating activities, and to determine the contributions of women‘s income generating activities on household access health services. The main objective of the study was exploring the contributions of women‘s income generating activities on household access to health services. Both primary and secondary data were used. The former used questionnaire, interviews and observation while the latter used document reviews. Simple random and purposive sampling techniques were used to select respondents for data collection. Both qualitative and quantitative data were collected, collected data were edited (purified) and coded. Descriptive analysis dominated where frequencies and percentages were computed where possible content analysis was also affected, SSPS facilitated in the analysis process. Sample size was 100 respondents including four staffs and 96 clients from Vision Fund Tanzania.
